Dressing for the In-Between
As the season shifts, so does your wardrobe.
The trench coat remains your most reliable ally this season. Wear it belted for structure, open and relaxed as temperatures climb, or knotted at the waist when you no longer need it. A well-chosen blazer works in exactly the same way: thrown over almost anything, it shifts a look from casual to considered in seconds.
The key to layering well is keeping each piece intentional. A fine knit, a shirt underneath, a jacket on top; each layer should work on its own as much as it does together. When in doubt, go lighter than you think you need. You can always add; it’s harder to take away when you’re not carrying anything.
As for colour, this season gives you plenty to work with. Cerulean blue, lime green and red are the ones to reach for if you want to feel current; all three have shown up across the SS26 runways and translate beautifully into everyday dressing. For a quieter approach, soft pink, sage green and warm beige sit just as comfortably in the season’s palette, and mix effortlessly with each other.
Pick your layers, pick your colour, the rest takes care of itself.
